Political Party vs. GDP per capita vs. Homelessness

Somehow intrigued by how people make decisions that are based on variables as conditions not a fixed value. I think that's how it should be, however, thinking on the macro-scale instead of the micro-scale economically could bring more prosperity for individuals in my opinion.

Prosperity states (CA, NY, etc) with wealth inequality tend to have more homeless people and wish for equality (high GDP per capita coexists with high homelessness). On the other hand, most states are moderate and wish for economic growth.

The high GDP recorded in these prosperous states is inaccurate because 1% of the ultra-wealthy and 20% of the upper class bring up the GDP per capita tremendously. About 80% (30%: low class & 50 %: middle class) of people still suffer from making a living, especially in the prosperous states. Now you know who voted for democracy.
